Hi Again!
Today was yet again a typical boring day. As usual, I woke up in the morning at 6.30am. Why do schools start so early? Anyway, after eating breakfast, I walked to school. As I was walking to school, I realized that I had forgotten to study for my Chinese spelling. Fortunately Chinese period was after recess which was still some time away, so I had sufficient time to study for it. I hurried to school to get started.
As I predicted, I finished revising Chinese in a flash. That was the end of a stressed out and worried feeling and the start of a boring day. As I waited for the minutes to pass by, I remembered that there was one and a half hours of home economics later. As our home economics project, we had to sew a bear from scratch. In my dictionary, sewing is defined as “a useless and tedious activity commonly done by girls.” I am dreadful at sewing. I had trouble for even the simplest type of stitch. When I first heard that we were doing sewing, my heart dropped. I’m sure you can tell by now what I am trying to say. I absolutely hate sewing.
Oh by the way, my English teacher Mr. Maran will be taking us on an excursion to East Coast Park tomorrow and I can’t wait. He hasn’t told us what he has planned for us but I’m sure it will be fun. However, I have to leave early as I have a badminton match. I am quite sad that I have to leave early because I will be missing out on lots of the fun.
